Uninstalling QuickBooks Plugin
Step 1: Uninstalling Plugin
Windows 10:
- Ensure that you are logged in as the Administrator, and log out of QuickBooks
- From the Start Menu, choose Control Panel
- From the Control Panel, click "Programs and Features"
- Find QBPlugin in the list
- Click "Change/Remove"
- If prompted, click yes to remove.
Vista, Windows 7 and Windows 8
- Ensure that you are logged in as the Administrator and log out of Quickbooks
- From the Start Menu, choose Control Panel
- Select Programs, then Programs and Features
- Click on the QBPlugin in the list
- Click "Change/Remove"
- If prompted, click yes to remove. You may be prompted for the Administrator Password to verify removal.
Step 2: Removing Certificates
All Versions of Windows:
- Open Quickbooks
- Choose Preferences
- Click Integrated Applications
- Find Company Preferences Tab
- Find QBPlugin in the list and click Remove
- If prompted, click yes to remove the certificate
Step 3: Removing Installation Folders
All Versions of Windows:
- Select Windows Explorer
- Click This PC/Computer
- Double click C Drive

If using Windows 10: Click View at the top of the window and check the box next to Hidden Files
If using Windows 7 or 8:- Click Organize and hover over Layout. Ensure that Menu Bar is checked.
- In the top bar, navigate to Tools Folder Options.
- Select the View tab and click Show hidden files, folders and drives under the 'Hidden files and folders' section.
- Double click the Users folder and navigate to Your User Account Name Folder AppData Local.
- Delete any PlugIn installation folders.
